Acatlan, Puebla Cheer (I give them credit because that is where I learned it)
I went to Mexico a few years ago for the 100th year celebration of the the 5 de Mayo revolution against the French. I was invited to be a torch runner. We loaded up on a bus and it would drop one of us off every hundred yards or so. The first person got off with the torch and ran to the next person and passed the torch to them. When night hit they pulled all the women off the road and up onto vehicles. They let me ride on the back of a truck and cheer the men on to keep their spirits up. By the time we got back to the city of Acatlan I was chosen to be the lead runner and pass through the main square. This is the cheer I shouted:
!A la bio! !A la bao! !A la bim! !bom! !bam!
!Acatlan! !Acatlan!
!Rah! !Rah! !Rah! You can substitute anyone's name or team where it reads Acatlan.
